ABOUT US

Physical Therapy Centre (PTC) is a multidisciplinary occupational health care service that provides best-practice musculoskeletal care and ergonomic consultancy services to the workplace.

Alongside our sister company, Ronke Eso & Company, we have been providers of occupational health physiotherapy care for more than seventeen (17) years, partnering generations, passionate about people, performance, and human profitability.

Our interventions are focused on reducing physical risks and injuries caused by hazards and repetitive tasks in the workplace, home or recreational spaces.

Our on-site and clinic-based services are designed to improve the productivity and wellbeing of the organizations' most valued assets, their employees.

Our daily outpatient musculoskeletal orthopaedic clinic offers best-practice clinical care on an appointment basis only to ensure you remain a fully interactive and participatory member of your work, family, and social environment.

About Us

OUR SERVICES

Today all work is technology driven, whilst improved technology is focused on size, speed, accuracy and competitiveness, it does not necessarily consider the anthropometric measurements or the frame of the user.

According to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) an estimated 2.6 million working days were lost in 2017/18 due to Upper limb disorders (ULDs) resulting in loss in productivity, revenue and employee morale.

The bottom line is people are getting injured through a wide spectrum of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSD) otherwise known as repeated stress injury (RSI)or physical injuries caused by poor match to the physical demands of the tasks of the job.

At the Physical Therapy Centre (PTC), we are focused on the health, safety, and productivity of the work-aged population.

As work and health physiotherapists, our interventions are cost-effective and designed to reduce the impact of long-term sickness absence on an individual and corporate basis.

Work Station Evaluation (WSE)

This tool will measure and design the workstation and environment to fit within the capabilities and limitations of the worker to achieve an outcome of safety, efficiency and productivity.

Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

Employee that is physically matched to his job is less likely to sustain injuries on the job.

Functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) are increasing in popularity as a tool for: pre-/post-employment, return to work and disability screening.

This evaluation is useful in work environments, specifically manufacturing and engineering industries.

Job Demands Analysis (JDA)

JDA is a process that focuses on the essential tasks and the physical demands associated with those essential tasks.

Non-essential physical demands are also identified and noted.  A high quality JDA is required and is the first stage in all job specific physical abilities testing (FCE).
